<li>May &#8216; 10 &#8211; <strong>Homeland Security Event</strong> -  A delegation of 12 Israeli Homeland Security companies which showcased their cutting edge  products and  technologies met with Massport, local government agencies and local integrators. The panel  included Admiral George Naccara, TSA Federal Security Director, Ron Rousso &#8211; Former head of security division El-Al Israel airlines, Rafi Ron, CEO New  age security solutions and John Howel &#8211; Partner, Sullivan &#8211; Worcester, moderatored by Dennis Treece, Security Director, Massport.  Mary Elizabeth Heffernan, secretary of public  Safety and Security for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts gave the keynote speach at the reception.</li>

Israel Makov, former chair of Teva and current chair of Given Imaging and Netafim amazed the audience with a brilliant presentation. <p>I would also like to add my voice of appreciation and gratitude. It has<br />
been a relatively short but intensive process, in which several<br />
organizations that have never worked together before, joined forces for<br />
the sake of this Conference.</p>
<p>This collaboration resulted in  a great event. Since last Tuesday we<br />
have been constantly receiving positive feedback from both Israeli<br />
companies as well as American investors.</p>

<p><strong><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-479" title="sh" src="http://www.neibc.org/wp-content/uploads//2010/01/sh.jpg" alt="" width="144" height="158" />Professor Shaul Hochstein</strong> was elected Director of NIPI in the summer of 2002. He chairs the Hebrew University&#8217;s Program in Brain &amp; Behavior, and is also chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Inter-disciplinary Center for Neural Computation. Born in New York, he has worked at Rockefeller University and M.I.T. His research concerns the visual system, memory and learning – in particular, neural-network encoding of perceptual stimulus features and sequence order, cortical mechanisms of perceptual learning, categorization, and the rapid visual encoding of a high-level representation of the perceptual world.</p>
